A commotion in the air caused panic inside the SpiceJet plane as the Mumbai-Durgapur plane landed. The video we are holding now captures the chaos that has arisen as a result of this chaos. The 42-second clip shows the passenger taking a video with his portable camera and many others next to him trying to make sense of what was happening. In the corridor things are spread out on the floor of the plane which is likely to happen due to the chaos. Video has not been independently verified. At least a dozen passengers were injured in a stampede on the SpiceJet plane in Mumbai-Durgapur when it landed at its destination.
Several cups, bottles, packages can be seen scattered all over the plane. Passengers may be seen trying to reassure passengers.At least 14 passengers were injured on Sunday when a Boeing B737 plane crashed. However, the plane was able to land safely.
The injured were taken to hospital later. A SpiceJet spokesman said, “On May 1, a SpiceJet Boeing B737 aircraft operating on the SG-945 flight from Mumbai to Durgapur suffered a head-on collision which unfortunately resulted in injuries to several passengers.”
Emergency medical care was provided when the plane landed in Durgapur, a spokesman for the department said. “SpiceJet expresses its remorse for this tragic incident and provides all medical assistance to the injured,” a spokesman for the department said.
