BhoolBhulaiyaa 2 revived Bollywood business after a long dry season. AneesBazmee’s horror-comedy, starring KartikAaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav among others, found a good opening in the box despite the low cost of tickets.Film commercial analyst TaranAdarsh shared on Saturday that BhoolBhulaiyaa 2 has received an “amazing” opening in a business box with a business value of 11 14.11 crore in India. He also noted that the film has become a major opening for KartikAaryan.

Bollywood’s last release on theaters was JayeshbhaiJordaar’sYash Raj Film, starring Ranveer Singh, Ratna Pathak Shah, BomanIrani, and Shalini Pandey. The first Divyang Thakkar director is able to collect only ₹ 3 crore coins on its opening day, which is similar to the 1 day profit of the latest films Attack, Jersey, Runway 34, and Heropanti 2.
BhoolBhulaiyaa 2 also skipped the opening day salary of Bollywood’s last bonafGangubaiKathiawadi. Sanjay LeelaBhansali’s film, directed by Alia Bhatt, collected ₹ 10.50 crore after its release on February 25th.Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is an independent sequel to the 2007 comic book BhoolBhulaiyaa, directed by Priyadarshan and starring Akshay Kumar, VidyaBalan, Amisha Patel, and Shiney Ahuja in the lead role. Rajpal Yadav is the only member from the first half who also played his part in the series as ChhotePandit.
