Sunrisershyderabad pace striker Umran Malik has been one of the richest players in the 15th season of the league. He impressed the selectors not only with his immature speed, running more than 150 kph, but also with his wicket-taking skills. In 14 matches this season, he has selected 22 wickets for SRH with a strike value of 13.57 and an economic level of 9.03.
Speaking next to an advertising event on Tuesday, the former India captain was full of praise for Umran.”His future is in his hands, if he stays healthy and throws at this speed, I am sure he will stay long,” he said.The South Africa T20I series will start on June 9 in New Delhi and will feature five games. The T20I series will be followed by a two-match tournament in Ireland, a three-match series in England and a fifth Test rescheduled in July.Ganguly also named three other strikers and four bowlers who impressed him the most in the IPL 2022.“Many have played well in the IPL. Tilak (Varma) did well in MI. Rahul (Tripathi) of Sunrisers, Tewatia of GT.”We’ve seen a lot of fast bowlers like Malik, Mohsin Khan, Arshdeep Singh, Avesh Khan … It’s a place where talent comes from,” he added.
