Starting the day with a medal count of 95, India secured five assured medals, including four in archery and one in kabaddi. This achievement officially pushed India’s total medal count beyond 100, surpassing the previous record of 70 medals achieved at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta by a significant margin.
