China is using Artificial Intelligence software to improve its monitoring capabilities

Last summer, China’s Council of State released a policy plan for the country to become “the world’s leading AI of innovation” by 2030, at the same time, predicting that the country’s AI industry could cost $ 150 billion. “China is investing heavily in all aspects of information technology,” from quantum computing to chip design, says Raj Reddy, an AI pioneer who won the Turing Award-AI at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, and Carnegie Mellon University Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. “AI stands for all these things.”

In recent months, the central government and the Chinese industry have been launching a series of AI programs. New AI field to China

China’s benefits to AI go beyond government commitment. Instead, a growing number of them stay at home to boost the global AI industry, says Xia Yan, a 30-year-old data scientist who founded Momenta, an independent driving initiative here. “Many of us choose to move from education to management,” Xia said. “We want to see our work in the real world. It’s a new era”.
