Arjun Kapoor says he is thrilled that filmmakers have finally noticed the actor in him and found him suitable for playing complex characters.The 37-year-old actor is getting positive reviews for his latest release EkVillian Returns and before that Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar proved to be a game changer for him.
Arjun, who also has films like Ishaqzaade’s ‘2 States’, ‘Gunday’ and ‘Ki &Ka’ to his credit, said he hopes to have a rising career chart with his upcoming film, which includes ‘Kuttey’ and producer Vishal Bhardwaj. Directed by Ajay Bahl “The Lady Killer”.
Sandeep Aur Pinky Farar’ was so appreciated. There is a residual value of respect that there is an actor in it and (I hope) that the directors will reach out to him. I think there is a positive momentum now. Hopefully, Ek Villain Returns‘ will take a step forward and Lady Killer’ and Kuttey’ (also) will go strong, the actor told. Also, with a film like Sandeep Aur Pinky Farar’, you might not feel it in one go, but when I talk to people today, I feel it has value. So I know it stays with people. It’s encouraging to know that hard work is paying off, he added.

There is no greater compliment for an actor to be praised by Naseeruddin Shah. And Kumud (Mishra) sir said that he feels I don’t miss the dialect. I appreciate all that very much, he added.
