Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ Roars into ₹400-Crore Club, Sets Box Office Ablaze

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s latest film, “Animal,” featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, continues to dominate the box office, crossing the ₹400-crore mark in collections. On its 10th day, the film earned ₹30 crore across all languages, bringing its total collection to ₹432.27 crore.

Taran Adarsh, a renowned Bollywood trade analyst, highlighted the film’s remarkable performance, citing it as the third biggest seven-day collection of all time. Adarsh also emphasized its status as the highest-grossing ‘A’ certified film and its achievement despite facing a clash with another film and being released on a non-holiday.

The one-week report card for “Animal” reveals that the Hindi version contributed ₹300.81 crore, while the South-Indian languages added ₹37.82 crore to the overall domestic collection. The film, which features an ensemble cast including Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, and Shakti Kapoor, has been lauded for its record-breaking success and exceptional performance in its first week at the box office.

Amidst its box office triumph, Triptii Dimri, who plays the role of Zoya in the film, discussed the intimate scenes with Ranbir Kapoor’s character in an interview. Triptii expressed that her parents were initially taken aback but eventually understood her commitment to her role, emphasizing that as an actor, she strives to be 100 percent honest with the characters she portrays.

“Animal” faced competition from Meghna Gulzar’s “Sam Bahadur” upon their simultaneous release on December 1, with “Animal” emerging as the clear box office winner.
