Mumbai — Actor Alia Bhatt is embracing the joys of motherhood in the most imaginative ways, creating magical stories on the spot for her daughter, Raha Kapoor. During a relaxed conversation on the YouTube channel Ed-a-Mamma Conscious Clothing, Alia opened up about her new storytelling adventures. She shared that Raha, her nearly two-year-old daughter, often asks for stories about her family, especially her father, Ranbir Kapoor, and her aunt, Shaheen Bhatt, whom Raha calls “Tanna.”
“I’m in that phase where I’m making up stories about Ranbir or my sister whenever Raha asks for them. I’m really becoming creative,” Alia said with a smile. “It feels quite special to be a storyteller for your child. I’m saying random, magical things, and then in two lines, she moves on to the next story. It’s all very fun and very special.”
Alia and Ranbir welcomed Raha in November 2022 and have since made several public appearances with their daughter. In June, Alia ventured into children’s literature, releasing her debut book The Adventures of Ed-a-Mamma: Ed Finds a Home, based on her eco-friendly children’s clothing brand, Ed-a-Mamma, which she launched in 2020.
On the work front, Alia was last seen in Jigra, where she starred alongside Vedang Raina. Despite its theatrical release on October 11, the Vasan Bala-directed film received mixed reviews and struggled at the box office. Fans can look forward to Alia’s upcoming action film, Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail and featuring Sharvari, as well as Love & War, a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film that will reunite her with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
As Alia explores new dimensions in her storytelling, both on-screen and off, her journey as a mother and artist continues to evolve, capturing the hearts of fans and audiences alike.
