92% of Ukrainians believe in the victory of Ukraine over Russia

At the same time, roughly 20% of respondents blame the invasion of Ukraine’s leadership; 18% blame NATO member states and 16% blame the US government. Despite the war, Ukrainians mostly think positively about the future of Ukraine. Thus, hope prevails in their thoughts about the future of Ukraine; 65.5% of respondents feel this way. the survey was conducted by the Ilko Kučeriva Democratic Initiative Foundation with the sociological service of the Razumkov Center from August 5 to 12, 2022, with grant support from the University of Bremen and the International Renaissance Foundation.

The survey was conducted in 112 settlements (57 urban and 55 rural) using the face-to-face method. In Zaporozhye, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv, the survey was conducted only in the territories controlled by Ukraine, where no military action is taking place. 2,024 respondents aged 18 and over were interviewed. The error tolerance is 2.3%.
