Bihar has reported the worst of the violence, including trains being set on fire

As the wave of violent protests against the new military recruiting program in Agnipath recedes, state police across the country begin to take violent action with sincerity and arrest more than a thousand people, most of them in Bihar. In Bihar which reported gruesome violence including burning trains in all districts and damaged public property, police lodged 148 initial reports (FIRs) and arrested 805 people. Those who indulge in social unrest in the name of chaos and target public buildings will not survive, said Home Affairs Secretary General Chaitanya Prasad. “The district police have been instructed to fetch the perpetrators,” he said.

Police complaints have been lodged with four Masaurhi coaching staffs for allegedly throwing stones at the Taregana station on Saturday. “An estimated 191 people have been arrested in the region on charges of liberating the city,” said district magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh.

In Telangana’s Secunderabad, police officials said they had not yet received the involvement of outsiders in the violence. “There was no involvement of any civilian activity and the attack was carried out only by those seeking military service, who were misled by the heads of training institutes,” said Sandeep Sandilya, director general of police, train services.

“The alleged anti-violence expert, director of the coaching staff, is in the custody of Telangana police. You are being questioned, ”said Sandilya. In all, 46 people have been arrested in connection with the violence and arson of the Secunderabad railway station.”All those arrested two days ago have been remanded in custody,” Sandilya said. “We were not able to arrest the young people on Sunday, as we are in the process of identifying other protesters involved in the violence.”

In Uttar Pradesh, police have arrested 387 people in connection with a series of violent protests. Of these, 145 people have been convicted under Section 151 of the Criminal Procedure Code, and 242 have been convicted of aggravated robbery and arson.Police filed 34 fires for protests until Sunday, said Law and Order Director Prashant Kumar. In Ahmedabad, 14 people were arrested after meeting without permission to protest against Agnipath’s plan, police said. About 100 people had gathered in the Meghaninagar metropolitan area.

“We have detained 14 of them as they had gathered without permission,” said Meghaninagar police station inspector JP Chauhan. However, one of the activists stated: “We were protesting in the Gandhi way, but we were not allowed to stay even for a few minutes as the police came and detained us. We want permission to protest as long as our demands are met and the system can be reversed. ” He declined to be named.

In Uttarakhand, between 300 and 400 unidentified people were arrested by police for allegedly carrying out a violent protest on the Nainital highway in TokoniaChouraha on Friday. The young protesters turned violent, behaved badly and clashed with police and passersby, destroying public property, police said.

Police used “less force” to disperse the crowd, they said. Haldwani City Magistrate Richa Singh and three other police officers received minor injuries during the trial, said Pankaj Bhatt, a Nainital police chief. There have been protests even on Sunday, especially peaceful ones, but in Ludhiana, activists protesting against the hiring process destroyed the Ludhiana police station.“The police took immediate action. About 8-10 people collected. Some people called them and abused them, ”said RS Brar, co-commissioner of police Ludhiana. “We have videos and we identify them.”
