Economy Focus: Adequate fuel and diesel supplies have been made available to meet additional demand

It is true that in some areas in some provinces, there has been a sharp increase in demand for petrol and diesel, which increased by 50% in the first half of June 2022 over the same period last year. In general, the increase in demand was due to an increase in demand for the Season due to agricultural activities, Bulk buyers shifted their purchases to grocery stores, and a sharp decline in sales by private Market companies by a large amount that changed to Retail. PSU RO. At the same time, thanks to the Government’s campaign for the illegal sale of Bio-Diesel, these volumes have also been added to the sale of RO Diesel. The companies ensure that sufficient petrol and diesel resources are available to meet this additional demand, and are committed to meeting national electricity needs.
