Ukraine wants to strengthen its stance with the help of new weapons imported to the West before resuming peace talks with Russia, said Ukrainian negotiator David Arakhamia.
“Our armed forces are ready to use (new weapons) … and I think we can start a new round of talks in a strong position,” he told Ukrainian national television on Friday.Ukraine has said it has recaptured part of the industrial city of Sievierodonetsk in the Luhansk region, with a focus on Russia’s invasion of the eastern region of Donbas.
