DrJitendra Singh said that many efforts, policies, schemes and programs during the last 8 years of the Modi Government have contributed to the beginning of New India and the emergence of AtmaNirbhar Bharat, but there are challenges in many areas that need new solutions. Asking for an integrated approach to problem solving, the Minister emphasized the need to increase trust and reduce compliance with the “Simplified” rules for ordinary people.

DrJitendra Singh said, as we formulate the Vision of Governance, “Climate Change and Disaster Management” should be an important pillar of training for public servants. Predicting the role of Artificial Intelligence for Disaster Management, the Minister announced that a major Scientific Research Plan for Climate Research will be launched soon. He said new opportunities and new challenges would continue to emerge so public servants must be prepared to handle these programs in a timely manner. He added that to bring citizens closer to the government, digital institutions must be built.

Dr. Jitendra Singh also placed great pressure on ethics to deliver public services and envisioned that in the coming years technology would improve the model of Citizens’ Governance. He said, Government has striven to ensure digital infrastructure as a core resource for every citizen by providing unique digital ownership, access to common service centers and providing thousands of Demand Services through seamless integration of services across all Departments / Ministry.

DrJitendra Singh said, “Never before has so many programs been implemented such as One Nation One Ration Card, e-Office, CPRAMS, Passport SevaKendras, e-Hospital demonstrating the government’s commitment to using the ‘Building’ ‘. when changes have deep roots and last a long time.

Shri V.Srinivas, secretary, DARPG informed that by 2021, the Department of Management and Social Complaints has striven to adopt the Whole of Government Approach in launching 3 key campaigns aimed at deepening governance reforms. The initiative to enhance efficiency in decision-making was considered to reduce deployment, financial management, implementation of e-Office version 7.0, Digital Installation of Medium Registration Units and the Implementation of the Desk Officer System in all Services / Departments.
