DrJitendra Singh said, as we formulate the Vision of Governance, “Climate Change and Disaster Management” should be an important pillar of training for public servants. Predicting the role of Artificial Intelligence for Disaster Management, the Minister announced that a major Scientific Research Plan for Climate Research will be launched soon. He said new opportunities and new challenges would continue to emerge so public servants must be prepared to handle these programs in a timely manner. He added that to bring citizens closer to the government, digital institutions must be built.
Dr. Jitendra Singh also placed great pressure on ethics to deliver public services and envisioned that in the coming years technology would improve the model of Citizens’ Governance. He said, Government has striven to ensure digital infrastructure as a core resource for every citizen by providing unique digital ownership, access to common service centers and providing thousands of Demand Services through seamless integration of services across all Departments / Ministry.
