Weather Focus: US National Hurricane Center says Tropical Cyclone may occur by late Friday potentially it may stormy

A possible Tropical Cyclone One is expected to be tropical on Friday and a tropical storm later in the day or night, the U.S. said. National Hurricane Center (NHC) on Thursday. Cyclone watches and alarms have been issued to South Florida by the National Hurricane Center of the tropical system currently in the Gulf of Mexico.

The system is located 95 kilometers (155 kilometers) northwest of Cozumel Mexico, with wind speeds of 35 kilometers per hour (55 kilometers per hour), says a Miami-based sangoma. South Florida is expected to see heavy rains, floods and possible isolated storms with the remains of Agatha expected to grow into Alex and hit the weekend. As of Thursday evening, the program is called Potential Tropical Cyclone One.

NHC projects will continue to advance on the Florida Peninsula Friday through Saturday. If a hurricane resurfaces in the Atlantic, it could be the first hurricane named after it – Alex. The system is predicted to be tropical or subtropical while traveling to the Caribbean Sea and southeast of the Gulf of Mexico in the next 24 hours. It is expected to cross the Florida peninsula on Saturday morning.

Weather warning

There is a risk of private storms as the storm approaches, including Friday afternoon and evening, according to the WPBF 25 News meteorologists. Heavy rains and floods are expected to hit South Florida and the Keys Friday night until Saturday.

WPBF 25 News meteorologists said parts of South Florida, especially from West Palm Beach to Miami, would see a greater risk of catastrophic floods. Palm Beach County is expected to have a high risk of flooding at this time.

Independent hurricanes will occur as the potential Tropical Cyclone One passes through the region from Friday to Saturday. Due to heavy rain, Flood Watch will operate throughout South Florida from midnight until Sunday morning.

Agatha created a Category 2 hurricane in Puerto Angel, Mexico, on Monday after a rapid surge in the Pacific Ocean. The National Hurricane Center eased Agatha’s level into a residual depression Tuesday morning after the system weakened due to high levels in its final report.The remains are currently located on the shores of the Yucatan Peninsula near the southeastern Gulf of Mexico.
