Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday expressed concern about the dumping of waste at Uttarakhand’sKedarnath during ‘Char DhamYatra’. Speaking during his monthly radio talk show, ‘Mann Ki Baat’, he also said that various images had appeared in the sanctuary. “Meanwhile, the sacred ‘Char-Dham’ tour of Uttarakhand continues in our country. Thousands of volunteers come there every day, and especially to Kedarin. “People are sharing their wonderful experiences,” he said.
“But, I have also seen that the devotees are very sad because of the filth that is being spread by some travelers in Kedarnath. Many people have also expressed their views on social media. If we go on a holy journey and there is a lot of filth it is not right, ”added the prime minister.
In the comparison, he said: “Where there is faith, there is also a good result. There are many devotees serving Baba Kedar’sDham and practicing hygiene. Some clean up after themselves, while others clean up after themselves. ”
