Mr. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology and Skills Development & Entrepreneur visited the exhibition at the SemiconIndia conference and met with newcomers in the field of power generation and semiconductor. The SemiconIndia Conference, a 3-day conference, was opened by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on April 29, 2022.
Mr. Rajeev Chandrasekhar has spent a lot of time with technology entrepreneurs to understand what they are currently offering, a roadmap for their products, applications and services for their technology and the global impact of their innovation. In his dealings with them, he also urged them to express their views on policy support, fiscal pressure, and other requests from the Government.
The Minister reaffirmed the strength of Indian Startups to significantly boost India’s Digital Economic Growth over the next decade. Speaking on social media, the Minister wrote on Twitter that “The launch of the semicon is truly inspiring the Indian electronics & semiconductor ecosystem. May this nation grow. I am confident that the next Unicorn will emerge here.”
Startups was delighted to meet the Chairman of the SemiconIndia 2022 Steering Committee and the Union Minister for the former chip designer in Silicon Valley, USA, as well as the successful tech entrepreneur himself. Startups felt encouraged and encouraged by the Minister’s call for them to join the rapidly growing Unicorn Club.

Earlier in the day, Mr. Rajeev Chandrasekhar reunited with Mr. Raja Koduri, Senior Architect and Senior Vice President of Intel’s Architecture, Graphics and Software (IAGS) part introduces the theme “From Angstroms to Zetta-scale: Silicon, Systems and Software in India”. The Minister congratulated Mr. Koduri for a great talk about India’s true power in AI, System Design & middleware for Indian Startups. He also expressed hope for Intel’s relationship with Indian Startups in the area.
