The Ministry of Electronics & IT announced Scheme for Promotion of Semiconductor Eco-System in India, Rs 76,000 Crores

Following Semicon India 2022 hosted in Bengaluru from 29 April to 1 May 2022 by the Department of Electricity and IT and the recently announced Semiconductor Eco-System Promotion Scheme in India at a maximum cost of Rs 76,000 Crores, President of SEMI and CEO Mr. Ajit Manocha met with leaders of India Electronics & Semiconductor Association (IESA) Mr. Vivek Tyagi Chairman and Mr. K Krishna Moorthy, CEO and President of IESA in New Delhi and Bangalore to explore collaborative opportunities to develop the Semiconductor industry and electronics. . The vision is to promote the Indian industry and support investors by ensuring that the benefits of semiconductor and other systems under the National Electricity Policy are brought to them and goals are met.
