KGF Chapter 2 continues to break one record after another. Not only the original Kannada version, the Hindi version of the film created a storm again. The film stars Yash, along with Sanjay Dutt, RaveenaTandon, Srinidhi Shetty and Prakash Raj in the main roles. It is now the third most profitable film in Hindi with a collection of ₹ 343 crore.
KGF Chapter 2 defeated Tiger Zinda Hai’s lifelong statistics by Salman Khan (₹ 339.16 crore), PK by Aamir Khan (₹ 340.8 crore) and Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju (₹ 342.53 crore). The film is still playing in the box and could surpass Aamir’sDangal lifelong collection, which is R387.38 crore.

The Hindi version of KGF Chapter 1 has a lifetime of R44.09 crore. Written and directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF 2 represents Kolar Gold Fields (Karnataka) and is the legend of Rocky (Yash), an orphan who emerges from poverty and becomes the king of the gold mining empire there. The film, released in the first chapter of 2018, has become the most lucrative film in the Kannada industry.
Prashanth said the human element in the story, an important element of making a lot of fun, might work to harvest the film. “The human character is the first thing we should put in a big film. When you talk about movies that are bigger than life, that human thing covers everything. Like, the way the characters behave should look like people to you.
