Tiger 3″ Roars Past ₹100 Crore Mark in Two Days at Indian Box Office

Salman Khan‘s latest action-packed venture, “Tiger 3,” has made a roaring entry into the Indian box office by crossing the ₹100 crore mark in just two days. The film, produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF), reportedly collected ₹57.52 crore on its second day, bringing its total domestic earnings to ₹102 crore.

According to a Sacnilk report, “Tiger 3” outperformed the second-day collection of the year’s biggest hit so far, “Jawan,” starring Shah Rukh Khan. “Jawan” made ₹53 crore on its second day after a blockbuster opening of ₹74.5 crore on day one. While the figures for “Tiger 3” on the international front are awaited for day two, it made a staggering ₹94 crore on the first day, making it the “BIGGEST OPENER EVER in the international markets,” as per film trade expert Taran Adarsh.

The film boasted a significant occupancy rate, with 48.62% in Hindi, 26.43% in Telugu, and 29.91% in Tamil on Monday, showcasing its wide appeal across regions.

“Tiger 3” is the sequel to the 2017 film “Tiger Zinda Hai” and is part of YRF’s expansive spy universe, connecting characters from Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan” and Hrithik Roshan-led “War” in future narratives. Set after the events of “Pathaan,” the movie follows Salman Khan’s titular spy as he races against time to save both his family and country. It marks the fifth installment in YRF’s Spy Universe.

The advance booking for “Tiger 3” opened on November 5, generating substantial anticipation among fans. The film’s success further cements Salman Khan’s status as a box office powerhouse. The last Hindi film to achieve a global blockbuster opening was Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan,” which earned ₹129.6 crore worldwide, while “Pathaan” made ₹106 crore worldwide on its first day of release in January. As “Tiger 3” continues its successful run, it adds another feather to Salman Khan’s cap in the world of Bollywood blockbusters.
