SS Rajamouli’s Epic Vision: ‘Made In India’ Biopic Chronicles the Father of Indian Cinema, Dadasaheb Phalke

SS Rajamouli, the visionary filmmaker behind epic blockbusters like “Baahubali” and “RRR,” is all set to captivate audiences once again with his upcoming magnum opus, “Made In India.” This time, he embarks on an inspiring journey to narrate the remarkable life of Dadasaheb Phalke, often hailed as the ‘Father of Indian Cinema.’ Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Nitin Kakkar, this biographical masterpiece will transcend language barriers, releasing in six languages: Marathi, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

The film will be produced by Varun Gupta of MaxStudios and SS Karthikeya of Showing Business, promising a grand cinematic experience that pays tribute to the pioneer of Indian filmmaking.

In response to this monumental announcement, fans eagerly inquired about SS Rajamouli’s other highly anticipated project, “Mahabharat.” His dream of bringing this epic tale to the silver screen has garnered significant attention, with Rajamouli revealing his intention to make it a 10-part cinematic extravaganza. He stated, “Every film I make, I feel that I’m learning something to ultimately make Mahabharat. So that’s my dream, and every step is towards that.”

SS Rajamouli’s prowess in storytelling and filmmaking has already garnered accolades, with “RRR” earning him the Best Director award (Telugu) at SIIMA 2023 and multiple National Film Awards, including Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.
