NASA share Pillars of Creation The Eagle Nebula is located 6,500 light-years away in constellation Serpents

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) released stunning detailed images of the Pillars of Creation taken by the Near Infrared Camera (NIRCam) on the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) on Saturday. The image in infrared light was taken in 2014. According to NASA, the Pillars of Creation in the Eagle Nebula are located 6,500 light-years away in the constellation Serpents.

In the caption, NASA wrote: “Near infrared light allows us to see beneath the gas and dust, revealing countless stars hidden behind the nebula and the pillars. The dusty blue haze around the pillars is caused by intense ultraviolet radiation from a cluster of young stars that eventually evaporate into space. With these wavelengths, astronomers are able to see the next generation of emerging stars.”

An infrared image of the Eagle Nebula shows columns piercing through the dust and gas, revealing a more unfamiliar sight that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

The iconic creation takes place in the vast Eagle Nebula, which lies 6,500 light-years away. NASA’s Hubble telescope first captured the Pillars of Creation in 1995 and revisited them in 2014.

“The entire image is littered with twinkling bright stars. In the center of the image, the outline of three pillars, surrounded by a blue haze, extends upward. Black dust and clusters in the lower center of the image,” NASA said in a description of the image. picture.

Earlier, the space agency shared a stunning image of the ‘Necklace Nebula’, which is formed by a pair of closely orbiting Sun-like stars.
