SpaceX may try to launch the Starship rocket system in March, its billionaire boss Elon Musk said in a tweet on Saturday.
Musk said in January that there was a “real attempt” to launch the starship in late February, adding that a March launch attempt seemed highly likely. “If the remaining tests go well, we will try to launch Starship next month,” Musk said in response to a user’s tweet about Starship.
SpaceX has been trying to launch its giant Starship into orbit for the first time since last year, a key demonstration flight aimed at flying NASA astronauts to the moon.
