Salient features of INS Vagir:
•It is fully equipped with dangerous missiles and torpedoes, specializes in dodging the enemy and what is necessary in today’s time, what makes it more powerful is that it is not caught on the enemy’s radar, the reason behind this is its stealth techniques.
•It can be easily deployed at a depth of 350 meters, and once the target is set, it can directly hit the target, anti-ship missiles can also be used in this, if we talk about its speed. That is 1148 kilometers per hour. It is a diesel-electric attack submarine made with today’s technology.
•It doesn’t make noise as PAFC fuel cell made by DRDO is also fitted in it, so that it is capable of attacking without sound.
•The torpedoes fitted in this submarine are German technology torpedoes. These are such torpedoes which are being used by the Navy of many countries.
•Another special thing about this submarine is that it can stay under water for about 50 days because it can also make oxygen, at one time 43 people can join it, that is, it can be deployed, it has many types of weapons, due to which The enemy can also be shot down from the shores and ships.
•Its speed going under sea at 37 kilometers per hour and 20 kilometers per hour on sea waves. It is capable of going to a depth of 350 feet and is also powered by four diesel engines of MTU 12V 396 SE84.
Just like the dangerous fish shark, which dodges and wreaks war on its prey, it is being called a silent killer shark submarine, and thus the Indian Navy will be given INS Vagir, which is an attack submarine, on January 23.Thus with its induction the strength of the Indian Navy has been further strengthened.
