Shraddha Walkar was killed allegedly by her live-in partner – Aftab Poonawala – in their Delhi apartment in May. Poonawala – who was arrested last week, confessed to the crime, police said; also allegedly chopped the body into 35 pieces after killing Shraddha.
The defense lawyer also said in the plea that the presence of the media and others at the recovery site and the courtroom amounted to interference with evidence and witnesses, arguing that the incident site has not yet been sealed by the Delhi Police. , and is constantly accessible to the public and the media.
