India and the US retain the greatest potential to “evolve, strengthen and improve

Ties between India and the United States retain the greatest potential to “evolve, strengthen and improve”, the top US official said at an event on Sunday (local time), further stressing that “2022 has been a very successful year in bilateral relations”. “When we look around the world, as the United States and President Joe Biden look for partners who can really help move the global agenda forward, India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are very high on that list,” Jon Finer, deputy national security adviser, White . House, ANI news agency quoted it as saying. “We’re excited about what’s to come in this relationship and we’re committed to moving it forward,” he continued.

Biden and the White House view ties with India as “the most important relationship with the US anywhere in the world,” the top official further emphasized, saying, “This relationship retains the greatest potential to continue to grow, strengthen and improve, and we are deeply committed to doing just that.” 2022 is a very successful year in bilateral relations and we have an even bigger year ahead of us. We have the Quad Summit, we have India’s chairmanship of the G20, which we are looking forward to including Prime Minister Modi. India was handed the chairmanship of the G20 at the recently concluded summit in Indonesia as it prepares to host the group of 20 nations next year.

The top official spoke about the event organized by Delhi. Taranjit Singh Sandhu, India’s ambassador to the US, who tweeted about the event, said: “Delighted to host a large gathering of American friends of India and the diaspora to celebrate the various Indian festivals of Diwali, Gurpurab, Eid, Bodhi Day, Hanukkah and Xmas. (sic). He also talked about how the two leading agencies in both countries – NASA and ISRO – are collaborating on human spaceflight programs NISAR – a joint Earth observation mission between NASA and the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) – also figured in his comments on climate change: “A two-way partnership is a two-way street and this is a very symbiotic relationship.

As PM Modi said, “Much of the India we dream of lies ahead”. This is just the journey we have started, we look to our friends like the US to join us on our journey ahead,” he stated. “Today, American Tower has more cell towers in India than in the US. Many American companies have their huge R&D centers in India. From almost negligible numbers a few years ago, today we have more than 77,000 startups in India, of which 108 have unicorn status. India’s talent pool is unlike any other country as 50 percent of the population is below 25 years of age – they are being skilled at a rapid pace,” the envoy further emphasized. Dr. Vivek Murthy, the US Surgeon General, who spoke at the event, further insisted that “the partnership between India and the US has become more important than ever”. “Our countries share a number of common challenges. We share a fierce determination to ensure that we lift everyone up in terms of access to health care or investments in prevention,” he emphasized.
