Defense Minister held a bilateral meeting with the delegations of Bangladesh and Kazakhstan

Defense Minister Dr Ajay Kumar on 19 October 2022 held a bilateral meeting with the delegations of Bangladesh and Kazakhstan on the sidelines of the 12th DefExpo in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. He met a Bangladesh delegation led by Lt Gen Waker-Uz-Zaman, Chief Staff Officer, Armed Forces Division, Bangladesh.

They reviewed key ongoing issues of bilateral defense cooperation between the two countries and explored ways to strengthen defense industrial cooperation. The Minister of Defense later met with a delegation of Kazakhstan led by Lieutenant General Ruslan Shpekbayev, Deputy Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan. A number of bilateral defense cooperation issues were discussed with a particular focus on training, joint exercises and capability building.
