Zomato Ltd inform on Monday that Gunjan Patidar, the company’s co-founder and chief technology officer, has resigned after more than a decade with the Indian food delivery firm. “Patidar was one of Zomat’s earliest employees and built the foundational technology systems for the company,” he said in a statement to the stock exchange.
His resignation comes after a number of high profile departures from the company in the past few months, including that of Mohit Gupta, another co-founder, Deputy CFO Nitin Savara and Vice President of Global Growth Siddharth Jhawar.
Zomato, which did not say why Patidar resigned, reported narrowing losses in its last two quarterly results. Its food delivery business’s gross order values the total value of all food delivery orders placed online on the Zomato platform jumped 23% in September from a year earlier.
