NASA’s Deep Space Network (DSN) written its history with established the connection with Voyager 2 Space Mission touring interstellar Space: Achievements of Voyager 2 Space Mission and its history

These days NASA’s Voyager 2 mission is again collecting headlines in the world, this space mission tells the story of NASA’s success and this has made NASA reach the pinnacle of success in the world. This mission Is considered to be the foundation in the research of space, this was the mission which helped scientists in space research to solve the mysteries of planets other than Earth and inspired them to know more about space, so let’s know about it. History and its achievements.

NASA lost connection with the mission for a few days, but using multiple antennas, NASA’s Deep Space Network (DSN) was able to detect a carrier signal from Voyager 2. A carrier signal is what spacecraft use to transmit data back to Earth. The signal is too faint to extract data, but the detection confirms that the spacecraft is still operating. The spacecraft also continues on its expected trajectory. Although the mission hopes to have the spacecraft point its antenna at Earth in mid-October.

At present, Voyager-2 is located more than 12.3 billion miles (19.9 billion kilometers) from Earth, and this change has disrupted communications between Voyager 2 and the ground antennas of NASA’s Deep Space Network (DSN).

It was launched on August 20, 1977, and on August 20, this mission will complete 46 years and after 46 years, it is once again making headlines.

Voyager-2 mission: The primary objective of the Voyager 2 mission was to conduct space probes and study the outer Solar System and beyond. It was launched 16 days before its twin, Voyager 1.

Grand Tour Mission: Voyager 2 made a “Grand Tour” of the outer planets of the Solar System in its space travel and gave a lot of information to the scientists. During its mission, it made close flybys of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. And their environment, along with many unique photographs were also taken

Passing by Jupiter: Voyager made its closest approach to Jupiter on 29 July 1979. It provided detailed images and data on Jupiter’s atmosphere, rings and moons, including the volcanic moon Io.

Passing by Saturn: On August 25, 1981, Voyager 2 flew past Saturn. It provided valuable data on Saturn’s rings, its moon Titan, and other moons.

Passing by Uranus: Voyager 2 made its closest approach to Uranus on 24 January 1986. This encounter was the first and only time a spacecraft visited the planet. This revealed new information about Uranus and its moons.

Passing by Neptune: Voyager 2’s closest approach to Neptune occurred on 25 August 1989. It provided the first close-up images of the planet and its moon Triton. Following this encounter, Voyager 2 became the first and only spacecraft to visit all four giant planets of the Solar System.

Interstellar mission: After completing its Grand Tour, Voyager 2 continued its journey into interstellar space. It is currently one of the most distant human-made objects from Earth, providing valuable data on the conditions of the interstellar medium.

Golden Record: Both Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 have a “Golden Record”, which contains sounds and images representing Earth and its life forms. The record was intended as a message to any extraterrestrial civilizations the spacecraft might encounter in the distant future.

Voyager 2 has been an incredible achievement of human space exploration, providing invaluable insight into the outer planets and beyond.
