Before he got married to actress Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal revealed a beautiful tip that Abhishek Bachchan shared with him. The actor, who will turn 35 on May 16, revealed some helpful marriage advice in an old interview. Vicky married Katrina on 9 December 2021 in a private but traditional ceremony in Rajasthan.
The couple, who are yet to appear in a film together, celebrated their first anniversary last year with special posts highlighting their commitment to each other.
Recently, at the trailer launch of his upcoming film Zara Hatke Zara Bach Ke with Sara Ali Khan, Vicky was asked if he would consider remarrying someone better than Katrina. The actor burst out laughing with his co-star and joked that he would have problems at home. He later declared that he would not leave Katrina even in his next birth.
In an interview with Brides Today in 2018, the actor was asked about any advice he would give to men about to get married. Vicky said, “I got a great tip from Abhishek Bachchan that ‘When you get married, apologize before you go to sleep and right after you wake up. You’ll be really happy’.” In the same interview, the actor shared that he plans to settle down soon after he turns 30.
In 2010, Abhishek explained that he and his wife, actor Aishwarya Rai, do not go to bed angry. During an interview with Vogue India, the actor shared that he is the first to wear makeup between the couple. He also said that he and Aishwarya used to have disagreements every day which they eventually resolved.
Vicky’s last film was on Disney+ Hotstar; starred in Govinda Naam Mera (2022) opposite Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar. In February, he appeared in Anurag Kashyap’s Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat as an elusive DJ in a young romantic film. He also has Meghna Gulzar’s Sama Bahadur, Laxman Utekar’s Zara Hatke Zara Bach Ke and an untitled project with Anand Tiwari for Prime Video to release this year.
