At least 19 children were killed Tuesday after a gunman opened fire on a Texas elementary school in the deadliest shooting incident in a U.S. primary school since a gunman killed 20 children and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut, nearly a decade ago. State Sergeant Roland Gutierrez, who reported the matter to state police, said the death toll included three adults. However, it was not immediately clear if the number was linked to the gunman.
