Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday said terrorism is a serious form of human rights violation, and it was necessary to end the threat to protect human rights. Speaking on the 13th foundation day of the establishment of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Shah said. Cases registered against terrorist support in Jammu and Kashmir have greatly helped to curb terrorism in the union area.
“I believe there can be no human rights violation other than terrorism. Terrorism is a major cause of human rights violations. We really need to end terrorism in order to protect human rights,” he said.
Minister said that, the Modi government has adopted a policy of zero tolerance for terrorism and day and night working to end this threat provides funding for terrorist acts there, says Shah. The home Minister also commended the NIA for cracking down on Jammu and Kashmir terrorist secret agents and robbing chains of operation and supplying terrorists there.
