Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Monday said it has been ranked number one among the top 30 software and IT service providers (SITS) in the UK market by industry analyst firm ‘TechMarketView’. The report is compiled based on a detailed analysis of the UK earnings of more than 200 publicly listed and privately held companies, TCS said in a statement. TCS has maintained its position as the largest SITS provider in the UK.The company said it also performed very well in the revenue rankings by subcategory, topping the rankings for Application Operations, second in IT/BP Services and third in Consulting and Solutions.
The report highlights that TCS’s recovery from the pandemic has been strong in the UK, where it won major contracts during the year with firms such as Royal London, Virgin Atlantic, Nationwide, the Department of Work and Pensions and Transport for London. Over the past year we have established many new partnerships with UK corporations looking to modernize their technology stacks while deepening our relationships with existing clients to become their partners for innovation, growth and transformation, said Amit Kapur, Country Head, TCS UK and Ireland .
