At least six people were killed and 23 others were injured after an explosion occurred in Syria on Thursday evening, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.
According to the news agency, the explosion was aimed at the town of Assayida Zainab in the Damascus countryside. The motorcycle was detonated near a taxi on Kou Sudan Street in Sayyida Zainab, according to SANA.
“Police and relevant authorities rushed to the scene of the blast as the bodies of the martyrs and the injured were admitted to hospitals,” the interior ministry said in a telegram statement.
