The Special Secretary (Internal Security) today released the “Cyber Crime Bulletin of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C) under the Cyber and Information Security (CIS) Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Delhi. Quarterly Newsletter – “CyberPravah” contains information related to various initiatives undertaken by I4C, MHA and States/UTs during the 2nd quarter (April to June 2022) of the year to tackle cyber crime. It includes cybercrime trends/patterns, statistics, I4C-created facilities, cybercrime reporting and resolution platforms to inform all stakeholders and assist in the prevention, detection and investigation of cybercrime.
It also aims to create awareness about the latest developments in cybercrime and cybercrime terminology. The newsletter will help state/central authorities working in the field of cyber security and cyber crime. I4C was established under the CIS Division in 2018 as an agency to coordinate at the central level and to support States/UTs by providing a common framework in their fight against cybercrime. I4C also spreads mass awareness through various social media in the name of “CyberDost” by providing cyber security tips to the public at frequent intervals.
