Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s ‘Tiger 3’ Set to Roar with Record-Breaking Diwali Opening

The highly anticipated spy thriller, “Tiger 3,” starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, is gearing up for a historic Diwali opening, poised to shatter records with its advance ticket sales. The latest installment in the YRF Spy Universe has reportedly sold 2.43 lakh tickets in advance, signaling a massive response from the audience.

According to advance ticket sales reported by Sacnilk, “Tiger 3” has sold 2.43 lakh tickets, including ₹1.96 lakh in PVR INOX multiplexes and 47,000 in Cinepolis. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh predicts that the movie is all set to achieve the biggest opening on Diwali day, with strong pre-sales across both multiplexes and single screens.

Taran Adarsh’s update on X (formerly Twitter) mentions that on Day 2 (Monday), “Tiger 3” has already sold 1.03 lakh tickets in advance, continuing its momentum. This includes 84,000 in PVR INOX multiplexes and 19,000 in Cinepolis.

As per Sacnilk, “Tiger 3” has already raked in ₹19 crore on the opening day itself from advance sales, with over ₹18 crore from the Hindi version and about ₹80 lakh from the Tamil and Telugu versions. If these figures hold, “Tiger 3” is poised to become the biggest opener in the history of Diwali day.

“Tiger 3” is the third installment in the franchise that began with Kabir Khan’s “Ek Tha Tiger” in 2012, followed by Ali Abbas Zafar’s “Tiger Zinda Hai” in 2017. Directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Yash Raj Films, the movie also features Emraan Hashmi as the primary antagonist, along with Revathy. Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan are expected to make cameo appearances, adding to the star-studded ensemble and generating significant excitement among fans.
