On behalf of actor Salman Khan, his production company, Salman Khan Films, issued a stern statement cautioning against fraudulent casting calls falsely associated with the actor or the production house. The firm clarified that they are not currently casting for any film and have not engaged any casting agents for future projects.
“This is to clarify that neither Mr. Salman Khan nor Salman Khan Films are casting for any film currently. We have not hired any casting agents for any of our future films. Please do not trust any emails or messages received by you for this purpose. Legal action will be taken if any party is found falsely using Mr. Khan’s or SKF’s name in any unauthorized manner,” the statement read.
This warning comes as a precaution against potential fraudsters who may exploit Salman Khan’s name for illicit casting activities. Last year, Salman’s company had also issued a similar warning against fake casting calls.
Established in 2011, Salman Khan Films, founded by Salman Khan himself, has been instrumental in producing and distributing several successful films. Under the banner, notable movies such as “Bajrangi Bhaijaan,” “Tubelight,” “Dabangg 3,” and “Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai” have been released.
Salman Khan Films operates with the mission of contributing to society, as the proceeds from film productions reportedly go to the Being Human organization, which focuses on charitable initiatives. The company’s first production, “Chillar Party,” directed by Nitesh Tiwari and Vikas Bahl, set the tone for a string of successful ventures.
Salman Khan, who was last seen in Yash Raj Films’ “Tiger 3” alongside Katrina Kaif, continues to make a significant impact in the Indian film industry through his production endeavors. As the warning against fraudulent casting calls is reiterated, the industry remains vigilant against such malpractices.
