Vietnam Approves $1.5 Billion Trump-Led Mega Real Estate Project

Vietnam has greenlit a massive $1.5 billion investment by the Trump Organisation and Vietnamese partner Kinhbac City to develop a sprawling real estate complex in northern Vietnam.

Spanning 990 hectares in Khoai Chau district, the project will include golf courses, hotels, commercial spaces, housing, and recreational zones. State media confirmed that Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed off on the investment proposal.

Construction is expected to begin this year and conclude by 2029. The site will host a mega golf course covering an area equivalent to 336 American football fields.
The approval comes as Vietnam navigates sensitive trade negotiations with the United States. The country is seeking to avoid steep 46% tariffs on exports and address U.S. concerns over the transshipment of Chinese goods.
This venture signals growing U.S.-Vietnam investment ties even as trade issues remain unresolved. The Trump Organisation has yet to issue a public statement on the project.
