Defence Focus: India has successfully tested the Ballistic Missile Prithvi-II

The ballistic missile uses a projectile movement to bring the warheads to a specific location. These weapons are only aimed at short periods of timemany aircraft without power. Short-distance ballistic missiles remain in the earth’s atmosphere, while intercontinental ballistic missiles are introduced by a sub-orbital plane.

Successful training for the launch of the Short-Range Ballistic Missile, Prithvi-II took place on June 15, 2022 approximately 1930 hours from the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur, Odisha. The missile is a proven system and capable of aiming at the highest level of accuracy.The implementation of user training successfully ensured all the operational and technical parameters of the arrow.
