Saamana is a newspaper published by Shiv Sena. “Who did you call Owaisi? Sanjay Raut, turn off your speaker. Maharashtra is all in trouble because of it, otherwise we will shut down your speaker in MNS style,” read the poster.
‘Owaisi’ reference comes in the context of Sanjay Raut’s recent interview when he said in BJP, Raj Thackeray is Owaisi in Maharashtra, meaning Raj Thackeray’s MNS is a ‘vote-katua’ in the province, like AIMIM of Owaisi. in the recent elections in Uttar Pradesh.

A line of speakers has added new fuel to the Maharashtra political turmoil even though all MahaVikasAghadi government factions are standing together to oppose Raj Thackeray’s request. At a recent GudiPadwa rally, Raj Thackeray raised the issue of removing loudspeakers from mosques and threatened that if the loudspeakers were not removed, his team would play Hanuman Chalisa outside the mosques. He also gave the government a decision to reduce the speakers on May 3.
The dispute has resulted in the withdrawal of Islamic leaders from the Raj Thackeray faction, with the Hindu JanajagrutiSamiti demanding compliance with a 2016 Bombay high court ruling over the removal of illegal loudspeakers installed in religious sites.Maharashtra deputy prime minister AjitPawar said Raj Thackeray should not be given priority. Maharashtra Minister Aaditya Thackeray said instead of reducing the speakers, they should be used to talk about inflation.
