This groundbreaking initiative, inaugurated via video conferencing from the revered site of Shri Jagannath Puri, marks a significant leap forward in Odisha’s infrastructure landscape.

Among the projects unveiled, highlights include the commencement of 6-laning work on the Chandikhol to Bhadrak section of National Highway-16 and the initiation of 4-laning work on the Baharagora-Singhra section of National Highway-49. These initiatives promise to not only streamline travel routes but also significantly reduce travel time and fuel consumption. Moreover, enhanced connectivity to ports along the east coast is poised to catalyze industrial growth, fostering economic vitality across the region.

With a steadfast commitment to propelling Odisha into a new era of development, the foundation stones for 26 ambitious projects have been ceremonially laid. Additionally, the commencement of work on 13 additional projects underscores the government’s unwavering dedication to accelerating the state’s economic trajectory.

The completion of these initiatives is poised to galvanize economic development, facilitating smoother journeys for devotees visiting revered sites such as Shri Jagannath Dham and Konark Temple.

Crucially, these infrastructure endeavors will not only enhance inter-state connectivity but also streamline access to ports for mining and raw materials, further invigorating economic activities in the region. The construction of railway bridges will ensure safer and more expeditious travel, underscoring the government’s commitment to holistic development and the well-being of its citizens.

As Odisha charts a course towards progress and prosperity, the inauguration of these transformative projects stands as a testament to the government’s unwavering resolve to build a vibrant and resilient future for all its citizens.
