New Delhi World Book Fair 2025: A Grand Literary Celebration from February 1 to 9

New Delhi is set to host a spectacular literary event as the New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 unfolds from February 1 to 9 at the Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan. Organized by the National Book Trust, India, under the Ministry of Education, in partnership with the India Trade Promotion Organisation, this year’s event promises to be a paradise for bibliophiles, writers, and publishers from around the globe.

The theme for this year’s event, “Republic@75,” marks India’s journey as a republic over the past 75 years. It highlights the nation’s achievements and envisions a strong, progressive India by 2047, as part of the vision of “Viksit Bharat.”

The theme will also delve into discussions about India’s republican framework, embodied by the slogan “Hum Bharat Ke Log” (We the People of India), reflecting the aspirations and unity of millions of Indians.

The event will showcase thousands of books from across genres, offering an immersive experience for readers and book lovers. Highlights include:

•Global Participation: International authors and publishers will share cultural insights and explore global literary trends.
•Authors’ Corner (Lekhak Manch): A space for authors to interact with readers through dialogues, panel discussions, and book launches.
•YUVA Corner: Featuring young, emerging Indian authors nurtured under a national mentoring scheme, providing a platform for fresh literary voices.
•Children’s Pavilion: Special storytelling sessions and workshops for young readers to spark creativity and curiosity.
•Cultural Programs: Events celebrating India’s multilingual literary heritage through performances and activities.
•Workshops and Discussions: Industry experts, writers, and scholars will engage in thought-provoking conversations on diverse topics.

Timings: Daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
For ease of access, visitors are encouraged to use the metro. The venue is conveniently located near the Supreme Court Metro Station (Pragati Maidan) on the Blue Line.

•Choose the NDWBF 2025 Entry Ticket link.
•Select the desired date of visit.
•Specify the number of tickets and proceed to payment.
•Download the ticket with a QR code for entry.
Offline:
Tickets will be available at the Bharat Mandapam and the Supreme Court Metro Station from February 1 onward.
