National Achievement Survey, 2021: Around 34 lakh understudies of 1.18 lakh schools in 720 regions from both provincial and metropolitan regions partook in NAS 2021

The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education today delivered the National Achievement Survey (NAS) 2021 report which evaluates the wellbeing of school schooling system in the nation by directing thorough assessment study of kids’ learning skills at classes III, V, VIII and X with a cycle time of three years. It mirrors the general appraisal of school system. The last NAS was held in 2017.

The NAS 2021 was hung on 12.11.2021 at all India level and covered (a) Government Schools (Central Government and State Government); (b) Government Aided Schools; and (c) Private Unaided Schools. Subjects covered are Language, Mathematics and EVS for class 3 and 5; Language, Mathematics, Science and Social Science for class 8 and Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Science and English for class 10.

Around 34 lakh understudies of 1.18 lakh schools in 720 local from both rustic and metropolitan regions have taken part in NAS 2021. The National Report Card has been delivered and put in the public area on nas.gov.in. It will empower investigation of results and healing activity at the suitable levels.

The goal of NAS 2021 is to assess youngsters’ advancement and learning capabilities as a mark of the effectiveness of the schooling system, to make proper strides for medicinal moves at various levels.
