PM Shri Narendra Modi distribute around 71,000 appointment letters to newly recruits

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will distribute around 71,000 appointment letters to the newly recruited recruits on 16 May 2023 at 10:30 AM through video conference. The Prime Minister will also address these appointees on this occasion.

The Rozgar Mela will be held at 45 locations across the country. Recruitment is going on across Central Government Ministries as well as State Governments/Central Authorities supporting this initiative.

The new recruits selected from all over the country will join various positions/posts like Gramin Dak Sevaks, Inspector of Posts, Ticket Sales Clerk, Junior Clerk Typist, Junior Accounts Clerk, Track Manager, Assistant Section Head, Lower Division Clerk, Sub-Divisional Officer, Revenue Assistants, Assistant Executive Officers, Inspectors, Nursing Officers, Assistant Security Officers, Fireman, Assistant Accountant, Assistant Auditor, Divisional Accountant, Auditor, Constable, Head Constable, Deputy Commandant, Principal, Trained Post Graduate Teacher, Assistant Registrar, Assistant Professor , among others.

The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to give top priority to employment generation. The Rozgar Mela is expected to act as a catalyst in the next generation of employment and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development.

Newly recruited candidates will also get an opportunity to train through Karmayogi Prarambh, which is an online orientation course for all new appointees in various ministries.
