List of Padma Awards 2023 conferred renowned people and unsung heroes

President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday conferred Padma awards on renowned people and unsung heroes, several posthumously, from various walks of life for their contributions in various fields. On the eve of this year’s Republic Day, the President approved the conferment of 106 Padma awards, including three cases of duo (in the case of a duo, the award is counted as one).

Of these, 54 awards (three Padma Vibhushan, four Padma Bhushan and 47 Padma Shri) were conferred on Wednesday evening at an award ceremony held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Below is the list of awardees:
