Kamala Harris Slams Trump as ‘Fascist’ in Fiery Philadelphia Town Hall, Warns of Threat to Democracy

Vice President Kamala Harris did not hold back during a CNN-hosted town hall in Pennsylvania on Wednesday, labeling her 2024 election rival Donald Trump a “fascist” and calling him “increasingly unstable.” Harris’s sharp rebuke comes as Trump’s controversial comments praising Adolf Hitler resurface, sparking heated discussions about his fitness for office.

Addressing voters’ questions in the crucial swing state, Harris highlighted concerns over Trump’s past remarks and his admiration for authoritarian leaders. “They care about our democracy and not having a president of the United States who admires dictators and is a fascist,” she said, referring to voters’ apprehensions.

The remarks follow recent revelations from Trump’s former chief of staff, John Kelly, who disclosed that Trump once commented that “Hitler did some good things too,” sparking outrage. Kelly further warned that Trump “falls into the general definition of fascist,” a sentiment Harris echoed during the event.

Harris pointed out that several former Trump administration officials, including his national security advisor and vice president, have publicly criticized the former president’s disregard for the Constitution. “I believe Donald Trump is a danger to the wellbeing and security of America,” she warned.

Trump, who did not attend the CNN event, retaliated during a rally in Georgia, urging his supporters to reject Harris. “Kamala, you’re fired,” he declared, attacking her economic policies.

Amid the fierce political exchange, allegations surfaced from a former model claiming Trump groped her in the 1990s, an accusation linked to convicted sexual abuser Jeffrey Epstein. Trump did not address these claims during his Georgia rally.

As Harris ramped up her campaign efforts, she made a stop in Philadelphia, engaging with voters at a local deli and expressing confidence in the upcoming election. With millions of Americans already casting their ballots, Pennsylvania remains a key battleground in the race.

The vice president’s campaign will gain momentum with upcoming rallies, including appearances with Michelle Obama in Michigan and former President Barack Obama in Georgia, underscoring the high stakes of the 2024 election.
