Reliance Jio Infocomm on Friday reported a 28 percent year-on-year rise in net profit for the September quarter at ₹ 4,518 crore. Its net profit stood at ₹ 3,528 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, the telco said in a regulatory filing. Operating income for the just-ended quarter jumped 20.2 percent to ₹22,521 crore from ₹18,735 crore in the year-ago period.
