In Italy the government has declared a state of emergency as adrought hit the country &the rate announced Monday comes at italy’s longest river as seen its lowest level in more than 70 years the 450 mile long poriver which flows through the north of the country accounts for 1/3 of Italy’s agriculture output but because of low water levels, seawater has begun to infiltrate the land and damaging crops.

Emergency announcement were made in five counties when the drought was severe, while  some cities and towns already used water limits. Meanwhile in center italy the Roamestiber river is slowly sinking according to a state owned research organization, over the past 30 years Italy has received onlyone half of its rainfall.
