INS Tarkash conducted a Maritime Partnership Exercise (MPX) with French naval ships in the North Atlantic Ocean on 29 and 30 July 2022 during its long-range overseas deployment.
Replenishment at sea was carried out between Tarkash and the French fleet tanker FNS Somme. Joint air operations with the Falcon 50 maritime surveillance aircraft followed, participating in several simulated missile engagements and air defense exercises. The successful execution of these surface and air exercises symbolizes the high degree of professionalism and interoperability that exists between the two navies.
