RK Shishir from Mumbai zone has topped the IIT JEE-Advanced entrance exam

RK Shishir from Mumbai zone has topped the IIT JEE-Advanced entrance exam, the results of which were declared on Sunday, officials said. According to IIT Bombay, which conducted the exam, Shishir scored 314 out of 360 marks. Tanishka Kabra from Delhi zone is the best among bitches with 277 points. Her all-India rank is 16.

More than 1.5 million candidates appeared for the exam and more than 40,000 qualified”The aggregate marks are calculated as the sum of the marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Candidates have to fulfill both the subject and aggregate qualifying marks to be included in the rank list,” said a senior IIT Bombay official.

JEE-Main, which is an entrance test for engineering colleges across the country, is the qualifying exam for JEE-Advanced.
